Do not buy an AI plan just because you assume “connector support means everything works.”
ChatCode provides the endpoint/tools. Whether an AI platform allows custom MCP, allows write/modify, or works on mobile is controlled by that platform and may change.
Rule: use this page as a reference, and before paying for an AI plan solely for ChatCode, check the official documentation linked below.

How does this affect ChatCode?
ChatCode remains useful even when your AI platform does not provide a full write connector.
Full direct workflow
When the AI supports write/action tools, you assign work in chat and it calls ChatCode to read/edit/test according to permissions.
Read-only direct
When a platform allows only read/fetch, ChatCode can still expose the right project/context within those limits.
Copy/paste workflow
If an AI does not support custom connectors, use ChatCode Project Brain/analysis and pass focused results into the chat instead of uploading the whole repository.

ChatCode does not control third-party UI, plans or limits. If a platform changes policy, ChatCode may still work technically while your account is no longer permitted to create/use the connector in the same way.
