What should I do after downloading?

Do not enable every permission on the first run.

1. Install and open ChatCode.

If Windows shows a warning, confirm the file came from the official website and compare the release SHA-256 before running it.

2. Add one small project in read-only mode.

Verify the AI can see the correct files before enabling edits, tasks, Git, or remote access.

3. Run the 5-minute Quick Start.
