CHATCODE · TERMS
Terms of Use
Effective: August 19, 2026 · Beta Version 1
1. ChatCode service
ChatCode is software that provides controlled connectivity between AI services you choose to use and resources on computers/systems that you explicitly authorize. A “project” may be a source-code folder, data repository, document folder, output folder, or another supported file scope. ChatCode does not make AI the owner or default administrator of your computer; actual access depends on the permissions you enable.
2. Software license
While you have a valid entitlement, OzinTech grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use ChatCode according to the applicable plan, device scope, and permitted purpose. You may not resell licenses without authorization, bypass licensing controls, interfere with security measures, distribute counterfeit or misleading modified versions of ChatCode, or use the ChatCode brand in a confusing manner.
This license does not transfer ChatCode source code, trade secrets, trademarks, or other ChatCode intellectual property to the user.
3. Projects, data, and access permissions
You decide which folders are added to ChatCode and which permissions are enabled: read, write, task/test execution, Git, remote connectivity, or other capabilities. You must have lawful authority over the data, accounts, and systems you connect.
ChatCode can help AI find relevant context using Project Brain and relationship mapping instead of bulk-uploading an entire project to ChatCode servers for storage. However, when AI requests content for reading or analysis, the required context may be sent through the connector to the AI provider you are using.
4. AI providers and third-party services
ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, Mistral, and other services are third-party products. ChatCode does not control their models, limits, accuracy, uptime, account policies, connector capabilities, or data handling. Your use of a third-party service is also governed by that provider's own terms and policies.
5. User responsibilities
You are responsible for reviewing permission scope before granting it to AI, backing up important data, reviewing changes before deployment, and operating only on systems, websites, and repositories you are authorized to access. For production, critical data, financial, legal, medical, safety-related, or high-impact systems, you should not rely solely on AI output without appropriate human review.
6. Free and Pro Beta
At this stage, ChatCode offers Free and Pro Beta. Free has flexible usage limits. Pro Beta is currently sold month by month, unlocks all currently offered Beta capabilities, and is intended for unlimited normal use, subject to fair-use, security, anti-abuse, and technical safeguards. Pricing, capabilities, and packaging for the official commercial release may change after Beta.
Purchasing one month of Pro Beta does not create a commitment regarding future pricing, plans, or features. Billing, cancellation, and refund information is described in the Billing, Cancellation & Refund Policy.
7. Updates and security
ChatCode may provide bug-fix, compatibility, or security updates. If an older version presents a serious risk, the service may require an update before certain capabilities can continue to be used. Update/repair flows are designed to preserve user data; you should still maintain independent backups of important data.
8. Personal data and telemetry
ChatCode data handling is described in the Privacy Policy. Local efficiency measurement may operate to show statistics to you. Sharing aggregate efficiency telemetry with OzinTech is a separate choice; new installations ask you to choose before this type of data is synchronized.
9. Intellectual property
You retain rights in your lawful data, documents, source code, and content. OzinTech retains rights in ChatCode software, interfaces, branding, OzinTech-created documentation, and related intellectual property, except for third-party components governed by their own licenses.
10. Beta, warranties, and availability
ChatCode Beta is under active development. To the extent permitted by law, Beta software and capabilities are provided as available and may contain defects, interruptions, changes, or temporary incompatibilities with third-party services. We do not guarantee that AI will always produce correct results, that third-party systems will always be available, or that every workflow will be suitable for your specific purpose.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, OzinTech is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost expected profit, lost opportunity, or loss arising from actions performed by a user/AI outside authorized scope or contrary to safety guidance. Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, responsibility will be determined based on proven direct loss and applicable mandatory rules.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits mandatory consumer rights, liability for fraud or intentional misconduct, or any other liability that applicable law does not permit to be excluded or limited.
12. Suspension or termination
OzinTech may suspend capabilities, connectors, relay access, or licenses when needed to address security vulnerabilities, abuse, fraud, service attacks, unlawful activity, or material violations of these Terms. Where reasonable, we will try to provide remediation information. You may stop using and uninstall ChatCode; the default uninstall flow preserves user data so it can be reused after a later reinstall.
13. Applicable law and mandatory rights
These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, except where mandatory consumer-protection rules in your place of residence apply and cannot be excluded by agreement. Disputes should first be submitted through the contact channel to allow an opportunity for resolution; your right to bring a matter before a competent authority or court under applicable law remains preserved.
14. Changes to these Terms
ChatCode may update these Terms when the product, law, or commercial model changes. Material changes will apply prospectively after appropriate publication/notice, except where earlier application is required for legal or security reasons. The version and effective date appear at the top of this page.
